It finally happened. While making real money runningback and forth shipwrting, Iactually get atell for a slice. Well I broke someones stupid comp gloves while slicing. Dam background spaceship flies over Mos Eisly made me lag at the exact same time I'm trying to click in the slicing window.

I was already stessed. trying to sort through my shipwright crap for my slicing stuff, I already had the guy waiting cause I was on the phone, fumbling with my inventory droid, so I was cutting him a deal of 50% of- 4k each. I was about to make 16k but ended up just tipping him 80k and saying "sorry".

Well he was more than happy to get that- probably 4 times the amount of the broken compgloves but I considered it just me paying 80k to be done with slicing for good. Its just not worth the time and stress for the price ppl expect- under 10k.

I'm surrendering slicing and spices soon for more shipwright skills, I always said I would never give up smuggler, but I've already surrendered TKA and ripping apart pistoleer, well,I had second thoughts on. I hope you guys get to do something good someday, whenever that will be...but I have to surrendersmugto make realmoney in this new world.

hmm you mentioning 10k a slice is not so funny....i am on lowca server and the few smugglers @ theed and cnet were slicing for 10k an item....thats all ive seen the last few days. seems most of us are in space and the population that still is on the ground grinding is desperate for slices

yeah, I have always charged 10k (April) some thought it was a rip, but they always had 50 cent weapons Now I see its the norm. 'bout time.

I will slice if asked but I do mostly contract withWS or the odd guildy and of course on some of the better armor I make.

The Tag however has to stay off since we are becoming celebs these days with the temp SW craze.

Not sure about your server, but we had a little party this weekend, and I've made about 500K on slicing peoples items.
