As i see it it would pretty much look like that :
GM : ok, i have to work on the smuggler revamp
TH : NO you won't do that, i have made a full bunch of promises i don't intend you to hold!
GM : err, but that's my job to design their revamp, i was assigned to that one year ago, reassigned to that 6 months ago, and told to do that after JtL would be out!
TH : I know all that, i said it, but i said it to them, not to you, you're not supposed to as fool as they are !
GM :oh i see, so what should i do now?
TH we'll need you on fixing the revamp of Image Designers, and i would like you to find other ideas to add content to jedis, they're not loved enough.
GM : As you wish...
Rinse and repeat, and see how TH keeps the edge.

LOL, ThunderHeart's job is to convey the sentiment of the community to the rest of the devs.. not to make design decisions. He used to be some dude just like you or me who just posted on the boards. Ironically, SOE flew him in for a job interview, and poof he works for them now. Another anonymous white man in a black suit making corporate decisions.. or is he? He is a normal guy.
I know I sound like the biggest brown noser alive defending the devs, but really they care. It is kinda funny though to see how much has not been done with this game. I read this thread a year old about how they are about to implement the combat balance... it was one damn year old!!! It sounded like they were going to change it the day after the post!!! It's one year down the road today and the combat upgrade post reads like the same thing.

But back on topic.. I'd say GM would beat the stew outta TH. GM looks like a big dude and thunderheart looks a little on the wimpy side... these are SWG developers here... we're not talking about linebackers.

Actually TH is bigger than GM. However, GM looks like he's in better shapeso I think he would wear TH down.

i do agree on most of your points, however, you have to face that TH fails in his role, he was supposed to convey OUR wishes to the devs, and he is just doing the opposite, he conveys the design team's lies to us.
When i have no doubt about GM being able to spwan an AT AT onto TH, i just believe TH could false talk it with some promising a revamp

LOL, GM is a LAWYER! Its his job to wear people down in argument or present a point. I was very happy when he told the Smuggler Community that because his legal mind can analyze facts better then most as he is trained for it. Funny thing is hes a Legal Eagle playing a criminal, a Smuggler. Ive known some good working lawyers and that is why I had hope for Smugglers at the time.

Thunderheart has (i'm sure) expressed what we want to HIS boss!! His boss probably said thats great but what do they know. So i don't blame TH, tiggs, or the actual programmers.
I blame the ones who made the decisions. I blame those who said "Ok we have some fundemental problems with our game and we are gonna add to it."
Those people are to blame!! There's always two sides to every story!! I think a few people at SOE are being pushed out and better managment is moving in. ( I HOPE!! ) and maybe even the new Lucas Arts person will be a big help??
With the type of interaction we had in JTLS beta there is no doubt that WE testers will be able to make an impact there and I sure hope GM will soon enough provide us with the documents for our revamp. We can read his ideas and come up with a concrete idea/plan for what we want!!
So I say BRING ON GM!! Lets atleast TALK about things!!! kthxbye

I blame TH. Either he lied knowingly, or he was lied to. If the former, then he's a liar with no credibility. If the latter, he's a spineless lacky with no credibility. Either way, his ability to function in the community relations role is compromised.
