Okay. Slicing improves weapons. Simple. Why not have spices improve other buffs?

C'mon, every hippy who listened to music (read: entertainers) was high. Why not be high on a certain smuggler drug, to improve the performance, perhaps lessen the timeframe that you have to watch.

All powergamers would eat it up, and of course the casual guy would want to extend his buff time.

Very interesting concept. You could get really creative with the spice enhancements.


Maybe a powerboost spice that increases rate of exp gained for a short time? The possibilities are endless.
