I still can't believe people are mad that the empire is finally becoming the oppressors they should be.

lol wat a load of BS, "O no we cant go around and kill all the stormie's they are too tough, im going to stop playing and go to WOW" - Well i'm sure SOE doesnt care if 1 person goes to WOW...Jesus!
Really though, they should just stay away from them if they can't handle them, i'm sure it's not that hard

I think the point he was trying to get across (badly) is that the ST's didn't appear on his scanner until it was too late which is kind of annoying, I get that all the time with mobs in the wild when I'm surveying, I slow down get off the bike and all of a sudden theres loads of red mobs wanting to eat me !
However ............. the first post does read as little more than a whine

I thought that they had corrected that problem on an earlier publish

What I'm getting from the over allthread is he did not have contraband but tried to run, they knocked him off his bike, dizzied him and killed him off, at least I think that is his point (I'm really not sure). It would seem he did not want to be "bothered" with the wait to be scanned and payed the price, I say good. What's the point if you can just ride off everytime your told to stop for a scan. At least I think that's what he is saying, lol.

I think that is an issue they can only do so much with...much of it has to do with the speed of your PC and vid card and lag over your internet connection...how fast your PC is able to communicate with the server and figure out where you are and what is around you, then draw it on your screen.
That guy experienced one of many dangers in being a rebel. He is only upset about one thing..he died..that's it..he isnt mad about anyhting else..he can claim he is mad about xzy all he wants...reality is..he died, and he is mad about it...if an elder had yanked him off, he would be in here sobbing about that as well.

It would seem lag was his problem, now if he had made that clear right off the bat and not blamed the crack down we might have been able to avoid all this silliness. But then again I would not have killed off an hour at work,

There is also an issue about the stormies recognizeing high level rebels you know since they can see right through armor. Thats part of why level rebels just run. Its pointless to try and negotiate your way through it. Your rarely marked for death by slice or spice.
Hey I recognize you your colonel such and such blast him.
After it happens for the twentieth time you key in that scanmeans run. Not like you have much of a choice. Your going to be shot either way better to be shot at fifty meters then at five.
If the stormies are getting FKD I think its a tad bit unfair seeing as the player community got alot of its pinning moves nerfed, because quote they were insurmountable. If you get FKD by a stormie with ten pals nearby thats a you have no hope situation.
It comes off whiney but there is some truth in there.

With luck many will simply lower their rank to avoid being busted out by troops, which makes sense in a Star Wars way to me.

If you guys go over there and one star his original posts, it will disappear from the forums.
You need 20 "one stars" to get a thread automatically deleted. I urge you to go over there and deliver the 6 or so more one stars needed to do this.

But then my PWN-tasic posts will go bye-bye.
