Thread: Faction perc discount?

Ok, I have been grinding FP so I can get a suit of Marine armor for my armory(to cheap to buy faction). When I went to buy the first piece, it didnt give me a discount. I am a colonel and a Master Smuggler. Any Ideas why I had to pay full price? A bug maybe?

It said in the window 3000 FP, and it definitely deducted 3000 from me. I reported it to support, and they said it is a problem right now and they are trying to find a solution. I will let you guys know if I hear anything else.

yes please, it would be nice to see if this is another bug to add to my list of issues that appeared, i guess i'll have to go and check by myself too if the imperial side is suffering from the same bug.

What race are you? If you are not human, there is a FP penalty to purchase percs...

hmm, i don't think there is an alien prejudice to buy a marine armor, that's a rebel item, and rebels don't have troubles with aliens.
Can you precise what you see on your requisition window? you are supposed to get reduction after the trade i think, that means if it's wrtten it'll cost you 1000 FP you'll only be debited 750 or so.

I have not received any word on this yet. I tried again the other day to purchase something, but did not get the discount

What piece did you buy for 3000? If it's the Chest Plate, then you got your discount. (Chest Plates are normally 4000).
Look in the Important Links sticky, and check out the Faction Perk Spreadsheet that Caylin put together. It lists regular prices for all the faction perks, as well as pricing for UW1 and Master Smuggler. You'll need Excel on your computer to view the spreadsheet.

You don't get your discount off of the listed cost. The listed cost already has your discount figured in.

Thats got to be a bug for you, when I was going after my set I wasn't a master smuggler, but I still got a bit of a discount anyway.
