Is it possible for say a rebel smuggler, with positive imperial faction to buy perfs from an imperial recruiter? I _really_ want a tropy at-st for my house

I believe this is not possible, your best bet is to find a master smuggler in the opposing faction and buy from them.

or to find a master smuggler from the opposing faction, make him trust a smuggler of the opposing side, u buying the FP urself and delegating it to him, so he can buy it with a discount

If you are a factioned smuggler you cannot buy and delegate FP from the opposing faction

It doesn't quite work that way. AT-STs are faction pets...and you can't call them unless you're overt. So, as a Rebel, you wouldn't be able to do this. And since faction pets aren't transferable, an Imp couldn't buy one and give it to you either.

offcourse, he could give it to u the hard way...

meaning: going overt, asking u to go overt as well, spawning the AT-ST and then giving u the AT-ST one blast at a time

Actually, I came to learn of something else even with Neutral smugglers regarding the faction thing. On Testcenter weekend I went to the blue frog and picked up some smuggler(I just couldn'tlet go of it, I couldn't!)

I tried to buy faction from both sides(I was neutral). I did Rebel first, got upto 500, and went to the Imperial recruiter. Even though I was neutral, the Imperial recruiter said that I was "suspected of aiding the rebellion" but that he didnt have enough proof to arrest me. So he wouldnt give me any faction. I was able to sell my faction points to him however. He totally ripped me off, I gave him 125 faction points for a measly 207 some credits.

If you would've had less than 200 Rebel FP, the Imp recruiter would have talked to you and sold you faction.
