Bought a t21 , got it through the 4 speed slice ( 12% ) and ended with a higher Attack speed and a lower DPS.. explain PLZ!

Did it have a speed powerup on it before you sliced it???

Slicing removes powerups last time I checked. Try putting on another speed powerup and see how super fast your weapon will now be.

It should be faster than it was before the slice by... 12%

I tried that, weapon had 801 DPS with pup before slice, now it get 669 DPS with pup....

nop

stats were unpuped :

Attack Speed : 2.37

Mod Speed : 1.5

Damage : 511-1026

Base DPS : 330

My DPS : 521

after a 12% slice ( tier 1-4 tools ) ( 100% customization ) stats are unpuped :

Attack Speed : 2.78

Mod Speed : 1.76

Damage : 511-1026

Base DPS : 276

My DPS : 436

i just dont understand....

Why do I have a bad feeling that the original speed stat was below the individual-weapon speedcap and that you slicing it has brought the speed back up to the cap?

That really sucks man.

On weapons, you aren't allow to slice a weapon so that it exceedes the damage or speed cap. Your rifle probably has a natural damage cap of 1200 something. It was probably under the allowed speedcap to begin with. Was this gun a converted gun from pre-CU or a newly crafted one?

i m 99% sure it s not, Problem it s that it hapenned to 2 guns, a t21 and a adv laser rifle.. both got stats decreased...

but Ternque01, how would that explain the severe DPS change? Unless all the stats are modifying themself according to some "pre-concieved developer made anti-balance tampering device" placed into the game...

if so: "I have a bad feeling about this..."

The DPS change is solely due to the weapon slowing down. My only guess is that these weapons were pre-CU weapons that got conversions breaking the speed limit established for their respective weapons.

I did a 100% speed slice last night on an Acid Stream Launcher, then slapped a speed powerup on it... it is FAST AS HELL now.

Ah, good point... I almost forgot that DPS stood for Damage per SECOND...
