I'm debating this issue with a friend who's going master smuggler, master armorsmith. He says that because master smugglers get a 25 percent discount on faction perks, he should be able to get 25 percent off faction schematics. I couldn't find any mention of faction perk discounts in the FAQ. It is mentioned in the pop-up text when you mouseover the master smuggler box in the skills window.

This has been talked about before on the AS board, but I don't remember it being asked quite this way. The discussion has always focused on the cost of faction points and the status of the GCW on the planet where you buy them.

I'm only a 4440 smuggler, so I wouldn't be seeing any discount. Does anyone know if an MS/MAS gets 25 percent off the cost of faction schematics?

Yes, Master Smugglers do get a discount on Faction Perks.

Faction Armor Schematics are bought from a Recruiter, as Faction Perks.

Therefore, logic dictates that Master Smugglers should get a discount on purchasing the Faction Armor Schematics.

Actualy, I'm pretty sure 1000 smuggler gets like 10% off too. It may be 2000 though.

Any item you buy from a recruiter is a "Faction Perk", so yes, a Master Smuggler would get 25% off the cost.

You have to be Armoursmith to buy the shematics. So only a Master Smuggler/AS would get 25% discount on them.

We couldn't play SWG without Tiggs. Now we can =)
