OK, I've spent this whole summer killing mercenaries on Lok, tier 4/5 Black Suns etc. I have not looted a single slicing component. My partner, a Bh, starts killing marks and has tons of slicing components. (We have two computers and play simultaneously at home). What am I doing wrong? I'm not kidding, I have killed literally thousand of mercenaries on Lok. Their bloody entrails are smeared all over my armour, not a single simple toollkit! This is discouraging. Anyone got any advice?

What you're doing wrong is you're trying to loot slicing components as a non-BH. What you SHOULD do is get a deal going with your BH buddy where he gives you the slicing components that he's looting and you don't kill him. What's he doing with them, anyway???

Lol went through the tusken fort. Can solo mobs of them and got simple tool kits by the dozens, and two fine.

Here's some advice...

If he's a good friend, tell him to fork over the components so you don't have to waste your time looking for them anymore.

I loot my tools from vendors all over the place. I gave up on the mercenaries.

Oh, wait. I gave up on slicing, too. And resubscribing. It felt good to upload all those tools on a vendor and just watch 'em go.

Thanks for the sdvice, to Tuskan Fort I go. BTW my BH friend (wife) is a smuggler also, but all components she gets are the upper level ones, we need the simple toolkits and the shock absorbant padding. we both slice moslty for friends and guildies, and ourselves of course. Would like to make a credit or two sometime... since the spice doesn't sell so well. Would like to smuggle some content ito the game as well....
