So have any of you actually got lowblow to work in PVP?
I must have spammed this guy running last night with about 15 lowblow shots and not one worked to knock him down. Maybe I should have tried panic shot for the delay...

Well it isn't the best for PvP due to the fact that alot of people can down defense vs knock down food, plus they have modifiers that give them added defense.
A buddy of mine and I tried this... took one out of about 25 lowblows to knock him down. Pistolwhip worked faster.

Yeah i switched to tka knockdown and it worked with like 3 tries..
Didnt' even think about pistolwhip...i'll have to try it.

I doubt that he was using a scatter pistol, I'm guessing he had some BH but wasn't a master.

I love it, check my sig!
I took bh pistol line ( yes , I nutshot with the scatter!) , I took nov commando for the launcher pistol ( which jedi can actually block I found out .....)
And some pistoleer to get some more pistol speed, melee defense and the all important healthshot 2
.
Now, I have a dizzying array of pistol specials and the pistol exp was much faster to go through with eyeshot, bleeding shot, healthshot2, and the super fast scatter pistol.
I had a lot of fun getting the pistol exp up there on what could have potentially been a long boring grind....
If I am facing multiple opponents, I have a /lowblow; /panicshot, then I hit peace and attack the second target to give me some more time, the second target gets /lowblow;/bleedingshot, then a few eyeshots then back to target one who should be getting up about then.....
Its great fun , try mixing it up some, but Never underestimate a volley from a launcher pistol to the trouser nexus!!!

Low Blow is always more effective if your target has states applied. You can intimidate with a pistol in your hand so don't hesitate to use it. It seems you can intimidateup to about 20m. If you can get a stun from a Last Ditch that is also going to be a bonus.
There are various stacked professions that are pretty tough to knock down and food will make them tougher. Fencer / Pistoleer is probably the hardest. The triple master template is also fairly tough -- with good state defenses to boot. But I think the key is the states.
