Having been Master Smuggler for a while now (man how i love it), I honestly cannot seem to figure out what to do with the remaining skill points. I think to this point ive tried most things without anything catching my attention as Smuggler did. I realize the obvious extention to Smuggler is pistols, but frankly they just arent worth it. They are fair in pve and horrible in pvp. The point is i took Smuggler to be a Smuggler, not for the pistol line (nice as it may be).

Sooooo....lemme put this out there and see if it sparks any insight for me,

Suggestions? Anything you've tried that was fun?

well depending on the amount of SP you have . .how about entertainer. Its a social profession so it kinda goes well with smuggler. After all . . . there is alot of busiess in the cantina

Well,..there always is a shortage of Image Designers,...slice a weapon and change your clients appearance to "drop from visibility". Combat wise,..there is always TKA,..or you can go for the roguish <sp> template of fencer, smuggler,.....can we say "Yarr matey!"?

Master Smuggler

4000 TK

3040 BH

The best of his class at secret training grounds on Yinchorr, Kanos was an expert at the echani fighting form and in wielding a force pike. Kanos' fanatical loyalty, though, was his greatest and most dangerous weapon. Even after Palpatine was defeated at Endor, Kanos and his fellow Royal Guardsmen remained true to the Imperial ideal. As Imperial moffs and admirals began greedily carving up the Empire to fuel their own ambitions, Kanos attempted to uphold the codes of the New Order.

There's the classic tripple master (Smuggler, Pistoleer and TKA), but you'll just end up using TKA for almost all of your combat because pistoleer is so borked.

There's always Master Smuggler, Master Commando, (Medic 1-0-0-0, or Pistoleer orTKA 3-0-0-0)

Or Master Smuggler, Master Marksman, Scout 4-1-0-1, BH 0-4-4-4 (or different combination)

Check out http://mail.chartermi.net/~talbrig/gal_ency/skill_calc.html The only thing that's out of date is the BH calculation requirements, but you can add them in yourself manually and use an elite combat profession (any ranged or TKA) as the stand in for that

I am Master Smuggler, Master Weaponsmith, and Novice Merchant. Make, slice, and sellmy own weapons. Cut out the middle-men.

There are missions in which you "deliver an item while hostiles attack you" in every profession. I still don't consider [Smuggler's Alliance] pilots to be Smugglers, nor 'Smuggling' - at least not any more than Rebel Pilots or Imperial Pilots might sometimes "smuggle", with a lower-case s - JFreeman - 10/6/04

I'm going smuggler/commando myself...can't decide weather i wanna put rest in pistoleer or some medic 1000...but i just got novice commando today and i have to say the launcher pistol is the coolest weapon i've ever used. i can't wait to use the flamethrower tho.

I could see the benifits of both. I'd take the medic personally. But depending on what tree in pistoleer you picked you could get some decent benifits.
