Well, clamps give generic crafting xp... but it shouldn't be either 10 or 2...
Something here isn't making sense to me...
But no, no tree gives more xp... only practice mode does, but you don't get the product if you do that.

If you are trying to grind slicing...
you don't make knives, FANs or Clamps for XP.
You have to slice!

ahh, experimentation on clamps, for some odd reason, is tied to spice experimentation.
If you were 0404 you would have all the points he does.
Though I dont see why you bother, as quality has no bearing on slicing.

Please don't try to push it as a marketing gimmick, we have enough problems with myths and legends with smugglers...
It's taking us forever to squash this 'quality matters in slicing' myth.
It really... really doesn't.

Yes. DO NOT tell people it matters. If you want to make good slicing gear and sell it with NO claims, that's one thing. Caveat Emptor. But DON'T tell people it helps their slices. That's a lie. And it makes other smugglers' lives miserable.
"Sorry buddy. 11 effectiveness."
"Damn noob, smuggler. You should use better equipement!"
/sigh.
/deathray.

I STILL get customers asking me if I have high quality tools.

I never advertise that quality tools makes a diff but i swear if i use crapy WUKs and AUKs i get crapy slices, yes i still get low end slices with good tools but much less frequently. now ive never done any hard research on it so i cant give numbers, and i was away when the anouncement was made about them not having any effect on slice outcome.
on a funny note i have been getting alot of customers lately that seem overjoyed to get 22% damage slices, wich i find as damn near horrible.

The weapon is 22% better than when they brought it to you. How is that horrible?
Exactly. Anyway, I've found I can get decent slices using equipment with 0 condition. Yeah, quality obviously does not matter!
