Smuggler Archive

I am not now nor have I been a member of the smuggler profession, however I have many friends online who are. After reading TH's announcement of the posponement of the GCW and Combat revamps until after JTL (end of the year it appears), I felt I had to come here to see the reaction of those who have had no love from SOE througout the history of the game. I know my brother and his friends will be sorely disappointed to hear of this. With this announced delay, and considering SOE's track record to date, it appears that there will be no formal Smuggler Revamp until sometime next year. This is truely sad for both the Smuggler community and the game as a whole.

I would just like to express, on behalf of other professions in SWG, our heart felt sympathies for this betrayal by SOE to this community. So much had been promised and discussed so eargerly and productively here for so long, and now to have this done to this fine community is, in my eyes, unforgiveable. I hope those who intend to sweat out this development can help salvage something from this catastrophy to help weather the storm of cancelations and future cutbacks sure to come out of this development.

To be perfectly honest DaHn, I wish I had a credit for everytime I've heard that line in the past year. I've been in many professions and, just recently, been a Master Ranger for many months now. After everything you folks have heard, been told, and debated with these people and now, with this statement from SOE and Hayden Blackman, how can ever trust anything they tell you again? I mean how many times do you have to be hit in the face with a shovel before you learn to ignore their guarantee's that it wont happen again?

Sorry but history and experience tells a much different tale. Again I wish you all luck.........
