Thread: Smugglers on the BH terminals? is it official?

Hi ho folks, i'm a bounty hunter and i wanted to ask if any of the devs have actually mentioned anything about smugglers being placed on the Bh terminals, or is it just rumour? I'm asking this as there have been a few posts in the BH forums by smugglers who would like to be placed on the terminals and the thought of a Bh vs smuggler cantina fight does sound tempting

No its not, It has been discussed tho. Just as something to add in the upcomming smuggler rewamp.

yeah. it was discussed.. as everything for the smuggler is.. you'll probably see smugglers showing up on BH terminals after Pub 21,when they decide that the last few holdouts need to be either forced off the game, or forced into turning Jedi...

might be a good reason to keep master smuggler for a while (when i get there)
what makes a Bounty hunter think he can take anyone down?

beleive me, i don't want to hunt smugglers for the sake of taking you down, i want to hunt smugglers because i'de rather be hunting something with intelligance and tactics, who takes the time to put up a hell of a fightbefore he goes down (if he goes down), rather than fighting lifeless still standing npc's aor almost unbeatable jedi. Although i am expecting at some point or another to walk into a cantina, aim at a smuggler and only to find everybody else in the cantina, who are all smugglers,to bein the same group, 8 smugglers vs 1 bh? running away time me thinks.

Actually, unless there is a change in FD, it will end the same as when you go against a low level jedi. They'll just lie there, feigning death while you camp their corpse, waiting for them to stand again. Ho hum, what fun.

Not really, i think the only reason alot of Bh's corpse camp jedi is to make sure they lose there xp and to make sure they don't end up showing of when they get rezzed. Smugglers are different, i couldn't care if a smuggler lost xp or not, my contract is to kill you once, and whats done is done, if you get back up later and i see you on the terminals i'll glady takethemission again, but i wont hang around wasting my time to wait for you to stand back up, the doesnt benefit me in any way

You wouldn't be camping the smuggler's corpse, you would be camping the smuggler's 'feign death' body.
The second you started shooting at a Smuggler who didn't think he could take you, he'll use Feign Death. Then he lies there on the ground and there's nothing you can do about it.
And, you can't just go about your business, because you won't be able to take a shuttle.

Well "mr feign death smuggler" will have a sudden shock when "mr anti-fiegn death dildo" gets inserted. Then we'll see who's playing dead.
