If the devs are wanting to go the loot drop way to slicing

Short term

Make the lot drop from NPC bh missions until smuggler missions are introduced. This would make sense as the BH marks are all criminals who would use illegal stuff.

Long term

Build the new smuggler missions around the components, e.g Jabba wants you to drop 50 feather touch triggers to his lock up in theed, your payment for doing this is 10% of the cargo.

The smuggler can then choose to deliver the cargo and keep 10% or not deliver it, keep it for your own use and get hunted by a NPC bh (this could be changed to pc bh if it works)
