I've been a smuggler since I started playing SWG again a month ago, recently I decided to go pikeman and swordsman and that left me with only slicing. Now my question is, does it matter that i'm not master for the new slicing? Or should I just drop it since I want to get some fencer maybe and because I have no idea how to get the components at my current ability level or should I hold on to it and put some effort into finding these tools and continue to slice ?

Yes, it matters. Only Masters can do the high-level slices now.

Yes, it matters. Only Master Smugglers are able to customize a weapon above 75%
