OK what happened to the faint dev whisperings that smugglers might soon be able to enhance their POBs? But instead they're buffing the SW's AGAINat the creation level. This is F'nBS, as we were promised before JTL beta that smugs would have a role in ship upgrading.. Well we all know how that panned out..

They just dont seem to get it. Not ahuge concern for me because I am MSW but I feel being a master smuggler should aid that profession but it does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for eachotherand is aredundant proffessioncombo. (Well not exactly. Smug does keep me alive now and w/ it I canembarass level 80s looking to duel master shipwrights)

Smugglers have been cheated out of RE process, and now smugshave been cheated out of"making a few personal modifications themselves" on their own gawdam F'n POBs...

Total BS IMO.. Stop buffing enhancing the SW crafting and stop denying smugs of another one of their birthwrights (ship slicing)

Dude- Seriously calm down.

They haven't even upgraded / updated our profession yet. Whose to say that we won't get a means to upgrade POB components? It is a little easier to code in another buff then to create a whole new system.

As someone who until recently was a Master Shipwright I cna probably explain. What is in the new patch is a fix for the POB ship equipment that was brought in with the new space resources. Trouble was the POB stuff was the same (or worse) quality then the old stuff. What the new patch does is makes the Elite POB stuff worth making. It has nothing to do with buffing it is simply a fix for something that was broken since inception.

The crafter inspiration buffs have nothing to do with the ability to slice.

Let me clarify.. been playing/trolling planetside and I used the wrong term "buff". I get my game terms mixed over sometimes. (In Planetside the term "buff" means the devsmade someones weapon or w/e more powerful)

I meant in my original post that SW equipment is getting another buff/beefed upfrom the developers, Imeant nothing reffering to entertainment buffs. I'm all for more powerful POB components, but I still think it should have to be made "elite" by smugglers.

Actually, they have, they're done with us. Being able to do something with POB ships was mentioned as part of the slicing changes, and they gave us gimped, lame version of what they proposed... so no, we're not gonna get a damn thing when it comes to that.

So to bring things up to date:

1. Slicing changes are done (even though we didn't get anything for POB ships, and it was nothing like they proposed.)

2. We got told everyone was being put on the back burner in favor of bug fixes, while they continue to work on profession development it seems but the smuggling aspect of Smuggler. (Nothing against these professions finally getting fixed, just wanted to point out the obvious lie that they used.)

So yeah, once again, something we were supposed to get didn't happen, yet "something" like it is snuck into another profession.... Kinda like when JTL came around.

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114
