Ok tonight was an eventfull night for me. i finaly won a mos espa race track race 560 total time on a swoop. woot. sexy smuggler dance. woot

and on my way back feeling total goodieness about my self i found a master droid enginer. and thought hmmm i jsut check this vendor and find out if there is any bomb droids. unfortunity there was not, but the owner was on and allowed me a brief conversation with her. then she came by asked how many i would like. i thought quicky 50 sounds good, hell they could be fun, and that 2 nice neet crates. she said ok but for 7k each droid. OMFG I ALMOST HAD A Major brain trauma as i fell out of my chair (not smart to lean in a rolly chair). i composed my self and explained no wonder no one buys them for 7k each thats outragous. well turns out she wasnt sure of the price and i talked my way down to 2k each. for advanced mouse bomb droids. sounded fair so i bought 50 of them on advanced order and will pick them up friday.

the shop is on the BRIA server at waypoint 2251 4164 on tatt, i think the MDE was named aryen. but a quick stop by her shop will conferm name. she is nice so please tell her if you want some thanks

I was having a hard time finding a DE who would even craft bomb droids. One day I was shopping for a new LVA and I saw a DE vendor going out of business and low and behold they had around 10 crates of mouse bomb droids and about 5 single deeds...the crates cost me about 2000 each and I bought the deeds for around 100 each.

to make good bomb droids you need a very rare gas. alsoyou need to be a master de before you can even make those type of droids. her first price was more than fair, it was generous.

That's the problem with them...it was more than fair at 7K each...but they are a one use item.....I can't think of anyhting that I would use a single use 7K bomb droid on. If the price is down around 2K or less, then the NPCs that they work on would be worthwhile...but 7K....its not the DEs fault...it SOEs, for feeling anything in this game added after launch has to have some lame rare whatever crammed in it. Why!? nades are a pain to make, but the resources keep the costs down...they should have done the same..and also not made them a MDE item.

The bombs get better with experiementing...the Masters would have an advantage, and the novDEs could feed us that just want some weak bomb droid for really cheap for entertainment in theed attacking overt jedi. (always gets the freaked out looking for the BH when there isnt one. )

My friend has custom made power droids with the bomb modules in them. I'll tell you the last thing a Jedi expects to explode is a dumb looking power droid *evilgrin*

7k each is a decent price actually. I have a DE friend on Eclipse so i get em pretty darn cheap, but lemme tellya. Getting pwned by a mouse droid is something no one wants, it's worth 20k to me to be able to get a bomb droid to blow up and really hurt or incap someone in PvP. the shock value never gets old

ya but those are like 35k per driod

and worth every credit. I love the smell of XP loss in the morning

I love chasing jedi's around with droids, not even a BH. I just set my droid to follow and watch the fun. It's great to put a covert jedi, with out buff on the boards. From force running away from my mouse droid named O this is gonna hurt

Even better is being a MBH, standing next to the starshipterminal with the mouse droid out (It actually IS a bomb droid) and watching the robes get all nervous.

Best was when the "Galaxys most Wanted" asked me about my faction, whileI was in space. A well if I'm bored with slicing I log my BH... from one misery to another and back. Maybe I should go Ranger again... or try out Squad Leader. Geez someone point me to a fun event...
