This sounds kinda cool, but I still have to ask:
WHY HAVE SMUGGLERS CRAFT FURNITURE?!

if the USE command ends up working, then smugglers aren't crafting furniture...
they're making machines that will part a fool from his money.

don't smugglers already craft the bubbletank from nym loot? I've only heard of this schematic from other players on Live, so I am likely mistaken.

If you mean are we the ones certified to craft it, yes.
If you mean do we craft it, I can't speak for all of us, but I don't. Its an insult, in my oppinion.

I've crafted one bubble tank, just to have it on display in my house; the schematic was looted by my partner, LM.
But for crying out loud, we're not smugglers anymore, we're bastardized architects. And I can just imagine the outcry from the architects over this.
If I wanted to build furniture, I'd become an artisan.

Damnit Man! Your not seeing it from the Devs point of view. You gotta look at the bigger picture here. You see if they start giving us more stuff to craft, then we start to, ummm.... and then they can, uhhh... well you see if we have this stuff then............

Well, I would think smugglers have a lot of long boring downtime on their hands doing all that um, smuggly type piloting. So they might um, carve stuff. Yeah thats the ticket! Just like navy seamen in the old days, whittlin' away! And it makes sense that they would gamble aboard ship during really long long flights..so it makes perfect sense to me!

Im actually really happy about this, any additions that make smuggler more varied (and lets face, sw smugglers a very varied bunch) are good. I still havent got my hands on a bubble tanks schematic yet (want to make some sort of gold fish bowl for the house) and i would love a gaming table on my nova for me and my buddies to play on while travelling. The first plan i have for my nova is to take some friends and visit _every_ space POI out there, just spend a day touring space, with a few cheeky fights in between. Obviously changes like this arent enough to fix smuggler, but they are relatively quick compared to whole smuggler revamp, and give me some enjoyment while waiting (and waiting and waiting) until we get our proper revamp. Maybe this signs some sort of future player casino for player cities, or extension to player cantinas to allow gambling that will require a smuggler to set up. I hope so

it's a holo-chess board, and it has a 'use' option on the radial... which isn't doing anything yet.
