Although it may sound a bit like price fixing, I am of the opinion that we should standardize our prices for slicing.
I look at it this way ... People pay anywhere from 10K to 15K for a 3 hour buff. Our services are permanant. I propose that we gradually try to get our price to 10K per slice over the next several weeks. Starting Friday Jan 14, I am charging 8K per slice. In a few weeks I am raising to 9k.
I feel this is not unreasonable, especially since I do not charge for any slices lower than 20% .. they are free.
Any thoughts or opinions from the rest of you are more than welcome.

I agree 100%. I am always busy when people ask me to slice. If they can't afford it then no slice. I'm too busy.

Price-fixing/"standardization" generally isn't possible in MMOs. Even if you could communicate this to all Smugglers on Radiant, one or two of us would just take the opportunity to undercut everyone else a *little* bit to grab customers. Then it turns into a pricewar, yadda yadda.
Anyway, no good. In any case, I'm out of the slicing business entirely on Radiant. It isn't worth my time to slice for profit, so I tradeshare with friends and leave it at that.
Oh, and this is probably better posted to the Radiant forum.

Talk about behind the time! I have been billing for 8K to 10K for 4 of 5 months now at least. Even my bulk orders are 250K for 40 peices or 6250/item on orders of 40 or more. I dont "want" to slice for some joeblow that walks up to me on the street. They have to convince me otherwise.
I slice for guildies at no cost tho...
