I looked up at faq, unless i missed somethingsorry, but anyway, what do i do as a novice with slicing?
Actually have about 15 locked containers, what next? I have 4 options available to me...
Alsocan i slice mission terminals?
thanks for help to my ignorant questions in advance.

Get thee a crate of molecular clamps...otherwise at best you slice maybe 75% of the containers...at this point you want all the xp you can get from slicing containers until you get to slice 2, when you can start slicing weapons...but as a slicer always have crates of molecular clamps handy so you can always slice whatever it is your are slicing without worry of cutting the wrong cable...

Buy the molecular clamps and make/buy precision laser knife. With clamps it always tells you which wire to cut so you will always get the 250 exp.
You are stuck slicing containers until slicing I, then you can do mission terminals you only get 100 exp for terminals and have to wait a few minutes between slices. Slicing containers is faster then terminals but you do not have to loot/buy terminals.
At slicing 2 being an artisan I made crates of cdef's and fan's (flow analyzer nodes) and sliced my way to slicing 4 with fan's I failed about 1/3 of the time. With your own harvesters and factory it's easier but if your going to buy then use clamps and get an artisan to make a few crates of survival knives.

Slice containers until slicing one. Then slice terminals without clamps. When you fail the terminals yell for Containers, and grind spice.
Best advice I can give.
Oh yeah, and make as much PLK's by hand and knives and FAN's and whatever by hand. That way you build up General Crafting XP along the way. Enjoy.
