After getting tired of typing responses to every tell and other question i get i set up a few macros to help me answer them quicker and to save my keyboard the wear and tear. Yesterday a potential customer told me he found a few of them offensive and rude so i figured id let my fellow smugglers decide .
Potential Customer : Can you slice
Me: Nope i looted this title of Darth Vader after i beat him to death with an Ewok
Potential Customer : Can you slice my arme plz
Me : Sorry assisted suicide is illegal by imperial Law
Potential Customer : How much do you charge
Me : 5k +1k pr % over 30
Potential customer : You rip off!!! my friend does it for 100 pr %
Me : yeah and im sure your "friend" can get a nice 600% damage slice on that Uber CDEF of yours to
Imperial potential customer : Can you slice my Jawa plz
Me : i feel no need to slice a weapon that will be hitting me in the head repeatedly on the next raid
These are the most used ones, are any of them rude?

it is your right to deny services for any or no reason. and, i for one, enjoy a good sarcastic comeback. it makes people stop for a few seconds and maybe actually think. the people who ask 'can u slice' are probably the same ones who were like 'can i go to the bathroom' and never had some one say, ' i dunno, can u?'. things like this are bound to happen..
(am i allowed to/reply on forumns if i am notin that particular profession at the moment?)

Some people (i.e. people with no sense of humor) might take offense, but I personally find those responses to be funny. Most people don't realize that as a smuggler, when you slice weapons/armor for the public, you end up having to deal with a lot of stupid questions all day.

the good old fashioned no workks as well, but hey... im up to some new things have a macro that says to them, "slicing is 1k, but that is without gaurentee it will return, to make sure it returns it'll cost you another 20k, by trading you agree to my prices.. and or policies above" works like a charm
