Hey guys,

I just got my proton carbine and I was wondering what the general consensus regarding sliceing is. Do you advice to wait until the revamp before getting it sliced? Or will things only slice worst with the revamp?

Also, can you slice something that has an ADK on it?

We have been waiting for the Smuggler revamp for quite a while now. No telling how long till its actually implemented.

And I would be interested in the ADK question too.

Slicing seems borked at the moment. Don't trust it. And yes, you can slice something ADK'ed but make sure to tip the smuggler double what they ask or the weapon may be destroyed during slicing and will take the ADK with it. Horrible mishaps. I'm sure the devs will fix the glaring generousity bug someday soon

Based on the slice figures I have been seeing, there is no way I am slicing my Proton Carbine.

I am going to use it until the condition is low, and if I still think it's my favorite weapon, it will get the ADK. (Bye bye, 500k Geo Blaster that's now a piece o' bantha poodoo!)

Once we get our revamp in 2009, I will then be ready to slice it properly.
