I am a master smuggler (not respec) I was playing around with the respec when I noticed it takes combat xp for the spice branch. Is it me or is this insane and completely illogical??

Not completely. Every line of Smuggler now contributes to our combat ability, therefore they all take combat-related XP. I still think slicing should require you slice, but there you have it. Also, Spice crafting's probably going away at the revamp(see the In Concept Forum for details).

yeah i am betting it is because of our revamp, the plan is to steal spices now instead of crafting them. so we will need combat to get em.
