Thread: Where is the best place to get solo pistol xp

I am returning to the game. I would like to know where a good place is to be get solo pistol xp for someone with a combat level of 39.

in the middle of a large group
no seriously tho , I used to do the klikniks in the blue leaf temple or the sludge panthers in durbin , tho post cu I aint gotta clue if those are still viable pistol xp farms???????
, tho grouped missions with higher level players dish out ok xp an cash now , plus make use of the 4x xp if your on chimaera..............

Go to the village and get in a group. There is *lots* of xp to be had there, even without double xp anymore.

Do you have RotW?
Head to an Instance...Ryatt Trail or Myyydril Caverns in the Dead Forest...TONS of stuff to kill. Great respawns too...and the junk dealers buy the crap they drop (EVERY creature drops sellable items).

You don't, you get in a group, you have too! Last night, one hour, 1,248,876 xp.....got it, now go group up.

Groups are the way to go now. All you have to do is hit the creature once and you get full xp. I would suggest getting a few people together and head to dant. Pickets can be your friend .

I'll join in and say group as well
there is some seriously easy XP to be had, its a very broken game mechanic.
find a gruop and go to a naboo (or other easy planet) player city and take cl80 non-agrro missions (read: not spineflaps) everyone tands in a little circle and you pick off one creature at a time until they're all dead. even at cl39 all you have to do is hit the creature once and you get max xp, and in the group you'll never die because the kaadu/famba/llama is dead too fast.
The downside is its boring as hell
But the upside is you can finish grinding in like 2 or 3 nights and then move onto something else more fun.

I would say a group because that is what I have been doing since CU (which coinsides with me resubscribing after a year hiatus) but some nights I can't find a group and with novice smuggler I am doing missions that are my lvl are 2 higher than me and am raking in 4000-4500+ xp a kill solo. I even helped a guild jedi born that day and things were going great.
After awhile I figured I would give some npc rebs a crack to the head and that didn't go quite as smooth because rooting/snaring, etc doesn't effect them blasting me but it was still fun and still 4K+ xp.
