Thread: Confused, about buying/ selling faction, can anyone help me please?

My friend wants to switch factions. He is a master smuggler but isnt sure the best way to do this? He is a colonel and has 35k banked faction. How would he be best able to convert his banked faction tio the opposite faction?

Sell it off at a profit, drop Rebel, then buy Imp at reduced Smuggler rate. If you do it right you'll come out ahead

unless you're at -5000 Imp faction, then the recruiter won't talk to you...you'll need either an Imp/neutral smug to help you out, or start running TONS of imp missions.
