I played one before a long time ago and did the hologrind. I just came back and am currently Master BH/Master Rifleman like so many others. I was thinking of doing Master Smuggler/Master Rifleman but wondered if Smugglers Low Blow is still considered a knock down attack or if it has been changed. Do smugglers get a KD attack? Just curious cause I forget.

Low Blow does not currently knock the target down, but I think it's supposed to... hopefully they'll fix it soon if so.

Unless you also have commando and squad leader, you'll lose your assault armor cert.

What about just novice BH since it has a 30% movement mitigation? I have a full set of Assault armor that I just recently bought and it rules and i love wearing it.

You'll look good, but accuracy and speed will take severe hits.

I hate to say it but I don't think LowBlow is intended to KD anymore. Its another smuggler issue where the info text for a special hasnt been updated. LowBlow currently puts a 10 second -40 movement restriction on the target. I would say this is the only intended effect of it now.
Wes I really hope you are bugging the devs to improve the timers on smuggler specials. Right now the only state effect move we have that lasts long enough to actually have an effect in combat is the master concussion that lasts for 40 seconds. Everything else only lasts 5-10 seconds which is barely long enough to hold off one move from an openent. The same can be said for ALL the pistoleer state-effect moves
