Ok, I read the whole buying/selling faction post by dreven, but when I go to the Imperial recruiter the stuff that has the 30% discount on it is still more expensive than the rebel perks. My smuggler is a zabrak. Does this race get charged more for perks or is imperial stuff just more expensive? An example: I use my rebel character to look at base cost and a SF det. HQ cost 90k FP, but on my imperial the SF HQ cost is 114697. And another thing, is the price listed on the screen include the master smuggler discount? I didn't see anything about the -25%, just the 30%.

Did the Crys of Aldeeran have an effect on costs as well? I thought I read that in the FP Guide from Drevon

That was my understanding as well For both that zabraks dont get a racism penalty and that there is( Atleast there used to be)a Cries of Alderaan bonus for Rebs

according to the dreven post we are supposed to be getting our perks for cheaper and they are not cheaper. Even if i was getting taxed as zabrak(still not sure about that). I don't think it would cost over 25% more than the regular price.

It still lists the price as normal but when its taken out of your FP pool it takes out the reduced amount... I thought it said that in the FAQ but anywho.

nope it didnt. but i just had a human check the prices and it only cost him 70k and change.

It's kind of hidden in the general FAQ and not the Faction Guide.

Is it true that Bothans make better smugglers?
It depends on what you think makes a better Smuggler.

Bothans get an additional 10% discount off faction perks. Please be aware that the discount takes effect after the actual purchase. So you must still meet the cost to purchase a faction perk, but when you actually purchase it, you will notice that you don't spend the full amount.

Also of note, faction prices differ based on which side has more bases at that time. This changes planet to planet. Go where you're winning heavily and things will be much much much cheaper.

Discovered this to be true. SF HQ cost 115k on Dant but 48k on Talus.
