I went to the Imp recruiter and bought faction earlier today (I'm master smuggler and an Imp Colonel, btw) and I spent 20k and got 1250 faction points. This is the first time I've messed with buying faction since we had to use a macro to buy so I thought this was pretty cool. Anyway, I decided to try and buy some with the option of giving the recruiter 100k figuring maybe I'll end up getting 6250 faction points, which would have made sense and I only ended up getting another 1250 faction. WTH is with that, does anyone know if this is a recent bug with pub 20 or has other experienced this before that. Needless to say I was a bit pissed that I threw away 80k and got nothing in return for my investment. Post if any of you have had similar probs.

I didn't bug in-game cause I wanted to check here first.

hmmm....just read the FAQ (updated a while ago, but I guess it's still good) and realized that should have only got 250 (?) fp for my 20k. So there's definitely something fishy going on here, either the devs need to fix this little screw up or there's gonna be a run on faction points pretty soon.

Ok, just went back and tried again and only got the normal 250 faction points...but I did check the logs and I did end up getting 1250 the first transaction that went through for 20k so it's apparently a bug of some sort but is not repeatable. So I guess this is a false alarm.
