So everyone working on Return of the Jediwanted Han Solo dead for the opening of the movie, even Harrison Ford. But George said no way and saved Capt. Solo from a fate worse then death.........a movie death (or a "Red Shirt" deathfor you star trek fans). Can you imagine what a Smugglers roll in SWG would have been had this happened, Caylin can you get word to George Lucasto save us as well!

Maybe it might have helped almost 20 years ago, but you are talking about a guy who directed Star Wars Episode I, II and nowIII since the original trilogy was released.

Who approved of Greedo shooting first... The list just keeps going on and on.

Man this is so depressing...

I was as shock as anyone to find Lucas did not kill off Han in the face of everyone wanting to do it,he must have still had a little hippy left in him back then.

Maybe it was because Ford hated the character and wanted out of the franchise? I'm sure that had *nothing* to do with it.

-Zz (But just think about how excited he'd have been if he could've made spice in his basement!! Or if he'd been bitched out by Luke for slicing his ESB DL-44 for 18% spd!)

That certainly would have made ROTJ a much different film.
