Im sorry to say that I will be droping the smuggler proffission. if the current publish goes live..

I know i could have posted this in any other thread but i dont think it will have the same effect.. Maybe if everyone posted a thread a single one themslevs, maybe, Thought highly doubtful the devs will listen.

I speficlly like to RP as a smuggler its good fun.

I have been a smuggler a good while now and i love the proffession. I have a great business on the Tarq server and sell LOTS of smuggler suppies..BUt, If the currnet publish goes live I will be shutting the doors and droping my skill.. I have never seen a proffession get swung with the nerf bat so hard..

Even tho i enjoy being a smuggler i will drop it and pick up Chef or BE or some other crafting proffession to make credits.

Heh, I've been thinking the same thing. I've had a temp. in mind for all the new GCW stuff, and if this goes on like it is I'll have a good reason to do it.

Same here. Though if anyone asks for slicing I'll just tell them to shove it and see what happens.

Godspeed, man.

I'm determined to carry my masochistic little torch and get back to Master Smuggler. We'll keep the welcome mat out for you if you want to come back.

Anyone asks me for a slice, I'm going to say ok, then conveniently "forget" to use clamps.

Especially if it's a BH.

I'm in favor of this change, but not like this. The way it happened makes me angry. If they had worked in any way with the playerbase, cool. But they didn't.

I'm going to rage here:

WHY DOES SOE LISTEN TO THE OTHER TWO ICONIC PROFESSIONS, BUT NOT US?

V E E L A "her royal hawtness"
I am Jack's Smirking Revenge. I am Jack's Ignored Profession.
Theed was a bustling commerce city...people hawked their wares, danced, laughed, dueled, and had a rollicking good time. Cantinas packed with Entertainers of every race, shape and size...along with scoundrels, Stormtroopers, and drunks. People grouped up and stuck together in the wilderness, and you ALWAYS took a Scout or a Ranger with you. We lived our own Star Wars saga. We created our own personas, our own histories, and it all blended into this wonderful, magical experience that I will always remember...

That magic is gone now, but I'd pay 50 bucks a month to have it back.

Editor's Note: The author of the above post has quit giving SOE her money. She suggests you do the same, because this game will never be what you want it to be.

Why does SOE not listen to us? Because our intracommunity cooperation, intelligence, cohesiveness, creativity, steadfastness, and work ethic make the Star Wars Galaxies' development staff look like a room full of lazy, stubborn, and uncooperative bums.

Or maybe that's just how they are, I don't know. /shrug

They do not listen coz your soft !!! I was a smuggler from launch for a year with promises of revamps etc which never came.

Promises is all the smugglers get , its all i got from launch for a year but in the end it becomes to much and you have to quit the proffession , mainly because your paying like everyone else but start to get the feeling your being short changed....

I gave smuggler a year of my time and all it really achieved was to frustrate me..Theres no reason to believe anything else....

I think my time as a master Smuggler may be coming to an end...I'm having serious doubts about keeping this profession. I think I hit my wall, and I can certainly empathize with any one else who is considering the same. Alot of us have been here since the beginning, Smuggler from the word go, and while many of my brethren still contain the will to struggle and press on, I'm starting to wonder if having this profession is causing me more grief than enjoyment in the game. It's a game, and I should be enjoying it, if I'm not, then it's up to me to do something about it. I'm not quitting the game, so that may mean I just have to quit this profession.

I hope a light shows up over the weekend to prevent me from doing this. All I ever wanted to be in this game was a Smuggler, and it's all I've been...and I feel disappointed that that may change.

Xal Rahzaar,

Master Smuggler?
