1) Keep FD as it is now on Live

2) Remove FD from the bounty system

I think everyone can agree that this skill doesn't belong in Jedi/BH combat, so let's make it that way.

1) Keep FD as it is now on Live

2) Move FD to the Master Smuggler box

This would be a lot easier of a change (and we all know how SOE loves taking the easy way out), would solve our problems, and actually put something in that empty box.

*NOTE* This message has been altered from the original posted on the BH and Jedi Forums (this issue concerns all three professions) due to the anti-"Message flooding" system on the forums. So to make this post unique, I've decided to post my reasoning behind it.

Was this recent change put in due to Jedi/BH using a legit smuggler skill to avoid mission failure/success, and then Jedi/BH complaining about it? More than likely. But I don't think any Jedi, Bounty Hunter, or Smuggler ever asked for FD to be removed from PvP altogether. There have been multiple alternative suggestions (including those listed above) that would have made a lot more people happy. So with that out of the way, could we please stop blaming each other?

Right now this recent "fix" is only on TC so it's not too late to stop it from going Live.So instead of arguing amongst each other, let'sunite as acustomer base and provide alternative solutions to the Devs. True, the recent changes are a perfect example of us telling the devs to do one thing only to have them up and implement something entirely different. But maybe if we yell loud enough together they'll listen.

Please voice your opinions. Perhaps one of these will be chosen over removing FD from PvP (and nerfing smuggler) altogether.

ROFL!!!!

Dude... we came up with tons of alternatives to what the current FD on live is. They just don't care. They won't invest the time on a Smuggler skill.

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114
