Ok, the big arguement against selling sliced weapons and armor on vendors is that they're contraband, and thus, illegal.

But in this time frame, isn't any non-imperial soldier walking around with a weapon or armor breaking the law?

So, to extend the argument, isn't having ANY weapon or armor, sliced or unsliced, on a vendor breaking the law? And therefore, shouldn't ALL weapons and armor therefore be pulled from vendors?

The secondary argument against selling sliced weapons and armor on vendors is that, if you make people seek out a smuggler to slice their weapons, it would increase the "smuggler feel."

But what the heck does modifying weapons and armor have to do with smuggling in the first place? In reality, shouldn't weaponsmiths be the ones able to put those extra special changes on weapons, and armorsmiths do the same for armor? The last time I looked, a "smuggler" is adept at hiding illegal items, and moving them from one place to another.I've never associated "smuggling" withmaking guns shoot further, swords swing faster, or armor lighter.

Be careful what you ask for. Yes, it's kind of unrealistic to have illegal items filling ever other public vendor. But that's just one unrealisting thing among many, many others. And if you strive too hard for realism, there won't be any weapons merchants, and slicing gets taken away from the smugglers.

This is a GAME. Suspension of disbelief is important to enjoy most games.

Yes I'm a smuggler. No, I don't see a problem with selling sliced items on vendors. Because, in "reality", the items shouldn't be on the vendors in the first place. And in this game, smugglers don't smuggle. They do other things.

One starred. lol Doesn't suprise me.

It's much easier to one star than it is to argue logically.

This'll get one starred too.
