it does not say uncrated kits will have the option so the 400 or so I unpacked may not be converted?
or am I reading it wrong? anyone else think this needs clarifying?

They're adding crated kits to the salvageable list. Uncrated were already salvageable.

it was reported and greenmarine said they'd look into running the conversion again, however this patch looks like its just to allow you to get the option from crated kits

There were some servers that were not allowing the 'last' kit pulled from the crates to be salvage-able. While most were. Is this new patch a fix for the servers that couldn't convert their 'final' kit pulled from a crate? Thus doing nothing to the servers that didn't have this problem? Or, does this new patch allow all servers the option to salvage ALL kits pulled from crates? Whether it was the first, middle, or last one pulled? Thank you for any clarification.

There was a post a couple of days ago...Clicky...Later in the thread he mentions fixing uncrated ones too.

yeah in that post he says it will not fix the uncrated one then later is the following post

Basicly, if you have crates of kits, don't pull them from the crates, as there's going to be a fix to allow those to salvage. There's no guarantee of newly uncrated kits getting that salvage option. Besides, if you leave them crated, you won't have to do like me and place several structures to hold all the kits because you needed to uncrate them first. :?
