Thread: Is anyone else a little concerned about the #'s on slices.

From what I see on Wes's FAQ (ty) the numbers we can increase for at least on weapons seem a bit on the low side. Maybe i'm just used to seeing the old numbers but 8% dmg and 12% spd (both requiring difficult to find loot drops) seems very low for a loot drop that comes off of such high end mobs. If we are going to get the tier 4 pieces off of such things as krayts then i'd like to see effects closer to that of tissues for example. Tissues range anywhere from 50dmg to 200ish. With the majority of what i've seen lying in the 90-160 range.
Based on a 850 dmg weapon (avg. scatter)even the 90 tissue is over a 10% increase in dmg. Slicing damage requires 2 loot drops that aren't dropping very often (even if they "fix" the loot rate it still shouldn't be common for the higher tiers)
The same examples can be made with the speed mod you get from tissues at an even more alarming disparity.
The only gripes I have with the new system is the usefulness of the slices based upon their %'s and with armor just what the slice is (hardening? cmon) and how often the needed compoonents drop.
Otherwise I'm ok with having loot drop components for slicing.
P.S. One last thing, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD pls have the pieces stackable lol

I don't know you've seen my weapons Jeff you think it would be fair if they got a greater than 8% damage slice? The 8% damage slice increased my max damage from 1040 to 1123 which is a 83 damage increase as well as raising the the minium damage which krayt tissues do not do. I think they are fair as they are now but sure give me another few points of damage if you want too

8% dam + 2% speed + 3% crit = 600k
How ya like THEM numbers?

its not about hardening on armor.... its about armor break reduction. 75% is great against jedi and melee types

Got that on my armour as well, My template is catered to take out Jedi and I pretty much have all the other benfits of being a Jedi and more except I don't have the 32m range. Nothing whipping out a laser rifle doesn't fix
