Thread: Panic shot breaking on contact too now

Now. I dont mind the changes to concussion shot. It's working as it was allways described before. Though I dont recall ever hearing anys ort of warning that Panic Shot would break on next hit too. Nor does it say this at all in the skill description. Nor. To my knowledge. Has it ever. I mean doesnt seemt o be all that much point to even botherig to use it in most cases now at all. It used to be handy to stick o nthe target you were attacking. Lowering their damage output. But now there is no point to it. I mean if you going to use a break on contact skill. Why now use concussion shot? And you certainly cant stack concussion and panic because one attack will break the effect of the other.

um... yeah. Many times.
All mezz attacks break on damage. This shouldn't be a surprise.

It was stated in the Publish 19 note which you can read when logging in.
Smuggler
Overwhelming Shot should now fires correctly
Panic shot's Daze effect now works (Daze effects break on damage)
Concussion shot is now a Root + a Daze (Daze effects break on damage, as this is a dual effect debuff both the Root + Daze will break on damage)
Some slices now require components that drop in various locations throughout the galaxy.

hmm must have some how missed the panic shot. But the point still stands. Makes panic shot rather redundant dont'cha think if concussion shot not only does the same thing as panic. But also roots?

Panic Shot has a small area of of effect I believe. But I could be wrong...

not that I've ever seen personally. only time I've ever gotten it to area is with my other combat toon who is a MCom. Used to have some of the smuggler tree on him while i was mucking bout with combos to make up for the broken commando AOEs. Anyone ever able to confirm it doing an area with just a standard pistol or something?

Pre-CU it did. Post-CU it doesn't.
