You guessed it.

How much are you going to charge for the privlege of slicing a players items when they bring you the looted slice kit.

Lets face it, this is a much more likely senerio then us finding the slice kits for ourselves.

Before the CU, I was charging 10k per slice (15k if the customer pisses me off), same as docs were charging for their buffs.

Now, I see absolutly no reason why I should slice for free when someone brings the loot kits. (someone has already tried to demand this of me)

I'm thinking of 2500cr per modification.

If thats a lvl4 speed slice, that will be 10k. (assuming the customer provides all the kits).

I'd like to hear other peoples plans for charging for our services.

I charge 25k a tier unless I supply the loot.

I was in a rush to get my weapons sliced otherwise I would have waited for a guildie.

I asked a guy for a slice he said he didn't have the components, I told him that was alright as I did He then said 15k per component I nodded told him in spatial that what I was handing over which was about 20million in weapon due to ADKed and 6 components. I talked the smuggler through the slicing process as he had yet to do it. He handed me back the sliced goods I tipped him 150k for two now uba weapons That was a little more than he asked for I payed him 15k per slcing tier not component, I got 5 tiers all togeather teir 3 damage, tier 1 speed, teir 1 critical.

If I was still a smuggler I'd be charging something along the lines of 5-10k per slice I did. So If I did a tier 3 speed slice it would be 15k-30k or in the case of my sliced 25k-50k. Something in that price range seems fair to me, plus they would provide the components. The only excpetion I'd probably make to this is for free slices if the customer brought double the amount of slicing tools and let me keep the spare ones. I'd then charge double if I had to use my own slicing tools

This is all a mote point however as I'm no longer a smuggler

I've beendoing this (for now):

ARMOR --

LVL 1 Single slice: 10K

LVL 1 Double slice: 15K

LVL 1 Triple slice: 20K

LVL 1 Quad slice: 25K

LVL2 Single slice (and up): 10K surcharge per lvl...price of each tool is twice what it cost me to acquire

WEAPONS --

LVL 1 Single slice (no-kit): 10K

LVL 1 Double slice (no-kit): 15K

LVL 2 Single slice (simple): 40K

LVL 2 Double slice (simple): 60K

LVL 3 Single slice (and up): 10K surcharge per lvl...price of each tool is twice what it cost me to acquire

CLIENT PROVIDES ALL TOOLS --

LVL 1slice: 10K

LVL 2 slice: 20K

LVL 3 slice: 30K

LVL 4 slice: 40K

With this price structure, clients are currently lining up outside the starports. I've done quite well just giving double lvl 1's-2's (2-4%spd, 2-4%dmg), and never having to carry anything but the 'common' (term used loosely) simple toolkit. If they want a 'better' slice, I explain the situation and advise themto conduct asearch for the necessaryhigh-end tool...at least until this loot-drop fiasco gets addressed. Keeping the price down seems to be working so far. With the drop inprofitbeing made up for by the increase in volume.

Ok, great info. Thanks all. I'll stick to my price of 10k per slice then. Possibly more for the higher ones.
