Smuggler Archive

Today is probably the last day Swen will be able to fly the master smuggler title. My alt is nearly ready to take up that mantel and I can't pick up any more skills without dropping smuggler skills. I got this game a little over a year ago and have been a master smuggler within a month of casual play and have never dropped the flag since.

There is a wrenching in my gut that knows, just knows, that within a week of me doing this they'll throw smuggling missions onto test. Or that SOE will announce smuggler is going to be a new uberclass with more content, wider skill selection, and our own personal dev to cater to Wes's wishes.

Even though I'll still be able to do everything with my alt I can now, it still feels wrong. Deeply wrong. Like I have cancer of the puppy. Horribly wrong.

As we tell the Master Dancers who have to give it up...you'll always be a Master Smuggler to us, dear!

Well if your alt is picking it up, then technically YOU are still a smuggler, just not with the same identity!

Yes, you "went into hiding" changed your name and your face.

It's funny. Keck's never giving up master smuggler. Which I precludes me from ever being some kind of ubah jedi... if I did I'd have to do it by regrinding FS on my wookiee. and Buhjeebus I'm never doing that again.

Well okay, I might do one or two for profit...
