Thread: Master Smuggler...Shipwright?

What do you guys think of MSm/MSW? I need some content, and I can't really BH with a Master Smuggler temp, not really strong enough with these new boss marks. So what do you guys think. Very Han like, no?

not a very strong combat, but would be pretty good content wise if you can deal with the high resource demand

My main character, Arewea on Starsider, is a Master Smuggler and Master Shipwright. I did it more for character theme than statistical enhancement. The theme continues with her being two boxes from mastering Freelance Pilot.

Why don't you ask Tomo, if he can hear you through his 600 million credits...

I've been thinking about this very thing. Mostly just for something to do.. I'd probably rp it that i just modified my own ship. since we cant slice ship components the RE is about as close as there is. I just keep thinking that this will cut me off from all combat content and i'm not sure what else you need to be a really good shipwright aside from just the one pre-req line from artisan. I'll be watching for any more feedback especially from any shipwrights out there... is this profession fun?

i don't know about fun, but i sure keep my shipwrite friend bussy, between selling her bulk space loot parts for RE and requesting new ships and parts.
Smuggler/DE may be fun for a while, not very profitable but those bomb droids could be handy

Why, good money in shipwright? I know that may seem like a dumb question (since they can charge 3 mil for CHASIS!!!) but is the demand there? It seems to me most people (except us Smuggler-types) don't bother with JTL. I'm a Smuggler through and through, so money is where MY heart is!
...Not to mention I love the spacey-space!
