Thread: Guess the mods are telling me I should stop posting.

Ok, this is getting out of hand. I made a post in the pilots forum that was appropriate to the thread at hand and the thread is still there, but my post is gone. FYI it was about someone asking about the NS cave part of the Nym's Starmap quest. My post said two things one: using a camokit was helpful; two: that this was an appropriate question to ask in the pilot forum, since someone was kind of annoyed the person asked the question. But it got deleted as did a number of my posts here in a thread about moderators, while the thread remained.

I guess either the mods or people here are telling me my involvement is not appropriate so I guess I'll take the hint and stop posting.

I only see one post of yours that was removed, and it was removed only because it quote a bad post. Sometimes when a post was in violation of the community guidelines, other posts are moved along with it if they are in direct reply to and/or quote the offending post.

This is not because there was anything wrong with what you typed, but because leaving the posts that quote the offending post would make moving the offending post all together pointless. See what I mean? A good rule of thumb is "if it violates the Community Guidelines, then don't quote it".

So, feel free to repost what you said originally (I can PM it to you so you don't have to re-type it if you'd like. Also, any time you have a question as to why one of your posts disappeared when you can't figure out what may have been wrong with it, feel free to PM me or any other mod/admin. We'd be more than happy to chat with you and let you know what may have been wrong. I'd hate to lose a productive community member over a misunderstanding or lack of communication!

Happy posting

That's funny for the post I quoted:

http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=pilot&message.id=130246

Has not been deleted, it is still active. It is a thread about the Starmap Quest and is still live in the forum.
