...I believe it to be an excellent combat profession and don't care if I ever smuggle something

thats great but for many of us smuggler should be more a content profession as opposed to a combat. We desire our namesake. Yes I'll admit that we get some nasty tools in a fight, ask most PvP imps on Sunrunner how I use smuggler. But I would give it all up just to be able to smuggle.

smuggling as a profession is pve content and im just not interested...

however, its not all about what you want, and everyone else around here wants to smggler.. but hey, glad your happy with it

Well, then... shut the hell up and go back to the game, and stop bothering the people that DO want content. It won't effect you in the slightest.

That statement is only correct if all a Smuggling system provides is PvE content.. Smuggling for players and/or trying to get past other players offers great PvP content with purpose and context.
