I got tired of waiting on the smuggler revamp. To my own great surprise, I somehow unlocked jedi a few months ago on my main toon. So I decided to try that. I can always grind the new alt to smug again. I'm just bored to death playing the waiting game, so I decided to bore myself even more by doing this horrid grind.

I know. I'm a horrible person.

Moving on, I dropped TKM before I started dropping smuggler, thinking, hey, I'll have master defender soon, I can use avoid incap with last ditch and have a little fun when/if a BH comes for me. (And I really really really was sad about dropping smuggler, even though I still have master smugglers on Bria and Naritus. But that's beside the point.)

Only, I tried using last ditch in a duel with a friend. I never got it to hit for more than 300 points, even with that crispic stuff in mah belly to increase my accuracy, and a few nice accuracy attachments on my person. And yes, my health bar was below 20 percent.

I ended the duel and immediately started ranting about the jedi who have gone on and on and on wanting last ditch nerfed. I was beyond pissed.

I don't know whose arse I would have to /kiss to get last ditch to work for me for these SUPPOSED 3,000-4,000 pointsI keep hearing about, but I obviously haven't been kissing the right one. I think getting last ditch to hit hard would be a super-rare thing... and it's a shot I would only fire as a very last resort, just as the description in game indicates. Getting it to hit at all is rare, much less the super one-hit-incap shots.

I would NOT base my template around that onevery inconsistentshot. Get sniper shot from the rifle line -- I think it would be far more consistent, even if you did not pair it with a SL buff. Unless, of course, you really want to be a smuggler -- they are kinda cool, just not functional for actual smuggling.

totally agree with SaQa, its a LAST ditch, and it works pretty well does a LOT of damage when ya use it in the right moment, and it can save ya ass in situations NOTHING ELSE can do! It helped me incapping unscratched Players that were whoping my ass, and also saved my ass in PvE against too strong Monsters! (Also in PvE its not THAT usefull cause of the increddible high HAM of most high lvl critters)

There is NO special that gives me this filthy smuggler feeling like the Last Ditch does!
