Hi there,

Am I right in saying:

1. As a smuggler I can buy Faction Points.

2. I can then convert fp into combat skills.

So, whats stopping me 'buying' my way to a Master Combat Profession?

1) Yes but only untill you have 500fp or more, you then have to transfer them to someone else (at the cost of fp, a Colonel can transfer 100 to another player loosing 118 from his own fp pool, someone correct me if I'm wrong) before buying more.

2) Yes, any (factioned) player can do that by asking one of their factions recruiters (I belive, I've never tried it as I always found XP easier to come by then fp)

3) That 500 limit, oh and 125fp costs 10k, so you better have a lot of money..

Time and Money

Faction point purchase is expensive and very time consuming.

Buying you're way to an Elite Profession this way would cost billions and take weeks of FP purchase and conversion.

Its also worth knowing that as a smuggler you will have the amazing smugglers ability of not being able to actualy smuggle anything.

Its the one ability we have the devs have yet to nerf
