Perhaps mentioned before, but I had this quick idea for a Smuggler special ability that perhaps suits the picture I sometimes have in my mind of the smuggler anti-hero grabbing the stash or taking the shot, and then high-tailing it out of there, while bolts of energy zip past his ears:
Escape/Flee/Run-For-It
This ability would work once per hour, and for a period of time (5 minutes?) would either make the smuggler automatically dodge all incoming attacks, or provide him with a significant (+100) bonus to Dodge or something, so that all but the most accurate attackers can hit him/her.
Basically I see this as working like a temporary Dodge buff that would enable the smuggler to run like crap whilst dodging incoming fire and melee attacks
As it is a once-per-hour deal, and has a short timer, I can't see how it would be used to grief or provide an 'uber' advantage in pvp/pve/etc.
Feel free to play around with the numbers, but I see this ability as a little smuggler flavour, whilst maintaining some heroic action movie ambience, and it would still be a viable ability for getting out of a difficult spot.
Whaddya reckon?

Just to prevent greifing, you'd prob. want a negative accuracy modifier added to you as well- so you're not going to hit them much either.

Yeh, I certainly didn't spend any real time dreaming up the math behind this. It just popped into my head as a viable combat escape maneuver. Something in-keeping with out profession..etc, etc..

Yeh, this thread will most likely fade away without ever being seen, whether it's a good idea or not
