That's too damn funny DRWolfe!! I however am a Leader....of what, I am not exactly sure but you better listen when I start barking orders dammit!! 
Just kidding of course, I do liek the new system though....variety is always good!

Wierd thing is, a Pilot's higher rank than a Leader. See the Gold Officer's Bar, there? That means... um... well, it means I have a gold bar that says "SWG" next to my name! Hah!

Anybody notice that the highest forum ranks have 36 and 48 month requirements?
Kinda optimistic don't ya think?

Just a little bit. I am still a month shy of being a pilot. And a that point I will still be a month shy of getting my ship.

Wont the ship be based on how long you actually have been playing the actual game. The forum rank and such are different. I hope I dont get screwed with getting the veteran ship just cause I let my account expire for a few days once before repaying for it.

I will be in the same boat as you next month if I can get another .2 ...
