Is feign death the same as running into a battlefield to avoid being attacked? You be the judge.

Nope.

It's been stated by the dev's that feign death is operating like it should and is not an exploit.

If it were an 'exploit' then it would have been removed already. Or speaking of how to do it would get a thread modded..

Test: to FD push the FD button... now if this thread gets locked you will know its an exploit cause I just told everyone how to do it.

The feign death as an exploitargument is a joke usually used by people who have no real arguments other then they are not uber l337 and can't kill all they see. In all honesty feign death in pvp is not that useful. And for the fact that a smuggler is not really a good combat profession. The specials are good sure, but without Master pistoleer they aren't really pvp worthy. Feign death is playing dirty, but then again. Its CALLED dirty fighting in the skill line that gives it. They should just deal.
