Smuggler Archive

I was recently made aware by some guildies of a mysterious "I'd like to go covert option" at the local recruiter.

Funny that I never get that option.

I've looked a fair bit and I can't find anything other than a few wives tales from fall 2003 that really don't address my problem. I've bugged it.

Is this related to the additional conv choices of being a smuggler?

Does anynoe know a fix?

The choice is in the first pane after initiating /conv, I believe it's the second option saying "I'd like to become a covert member"

LOL, sorry...had to laugh

I'm afraid I wasn't clear enough. Yes, I know it's supposed to be there. The problem, you see, is that it is not. Recruiters give me 7 options, none of which is the option to go covert.

I've even tried dicking with as many /ui action conversationResponseXX as I can think of and nada.

Anyone else seeing this?

Possibly this is not smuggler related at all. Hmm, I'll check some of the support forums.

I am master smuggler and have gone overt/covert a number of times in order to sell faction points. Sounds like a serious bug for you... hope you get it resolved soon.

I wish I had a list here at the office of the commands I do get:

-promotion (funny since Im a colonel)

-requisition

-train

-donation

-resign (no options for covert in here)

-info for you

-stop converse

I believe that is my initial set of available options.

I've even tried getting to the covert option through each of these options. Hrmm...
