I'd like to see the ability to take off and land at shuttleports even in PC cities given to master smugglers.

The info is already stored for each planet.

I believe he's talking about when JTL is released. Allowing Smugglers to pull their ships/take off and land at shuttleports, including PC city shuttleports.

Would be a great Smuggler perk.

I would like for us to be able to land anywhere we want. Room permitting. It would be great to land out in the middle of nowhere to conduct "business". Bounty Hunters should be able to also.

Already been stated that you will take a shuttle from a Starport up to a "station", and then get into your ship.

Your spaceship will never come in contact with the ground. Ever. The ground game and the space game will be completely separate.

There are missions in which you "deliver an item while hostiles attack you" in every profession. I still don't consider [Smuggler's Alliance] pilots to be Smugglers, nor 'Smuggling' - at least not any more than Rebel Pilots or Imperial Pilots might sometimes "smuggle", with a lower-case s - JFreeman - 10/6/04

Didn't hear about the "station" thing. I thought you would pull the ship, get a loading screen, then you would be in space in your ship. For landing, you'd choose "Land" and it would give a selection of starports, you pick one, get a loading screen, and appear in the starport.

I have not kept up with any JTL stuff,so excuse me if I seem a little behind. So what you're saying is even after JTL we will still have to wait for a shuttle to take us to our ships?

This is speculation, because they haven't gone into specifics. I believe you will just go to a Starport, select the "travel to space" or whatever option they will have, and then you'll have access to your ship.

I hope so ,because after I get my "car" I sure dont want to still have to wait for the bus.
