Thread: HAM Regen while FD

I did a search and checked the FAQs and can't remember since I was a smuggler like a million years ago, so what is the HAM regen like when FD? Like standing? Sitting?
The reason I ask is I'm going TKM/Commando and I'm considering whether to get Novice Medic or Smuggler 0/0/1/0 for Bomber Droids and FD.

Feign Death is not worth the points you'll spend to get it. It used to have the same HAM regen as standing as far as I can see but with the recent 3 second rule you either fight with no armour or you have almost no regen at all since you cant dequip your armour instantly.
As for bomb droids? Very cool, but with no experience or faction for using them, and the prohibitive cost it's a waste of points.
Novice medic on the other hand in conjunction with a +15 injury treatment speed bio engineered muscle shirt will make a huge difference to you.
In short, Smuggler isnt really very good at the moment at high levels, let alone at low levels. Time will tell.

Thanks for the response, too bad it wasn't the answer I hoped for but it was the one I expected.

I actually did rather well with it...but I was always buffed, and that leaves my regen pretty high of course... I would recover any damage I took while stacking on flames before they burned out and it was time to get up again...this was when I had commando like a month ago tho, so who knows if it's the same. Worked wonders with the nasty little packs of NS.
And bomb droids suck in most things...but if you can sneak one into a pack of people in PvP, it's at least good for a laugh...
What can I say, my lack of combat leaves me looking for something to do while the others shake things up. They do work very, very nicely on turrets tho....

Bomb droids are for scumbags who prey on overts that shouldnt be goingovert in their shot upcondition. I just couldnt help it last night. I saw anenemy PC shot up and at therecruiter. I really wanted to get a few/lastditches off but the bomb incapped him I was about 90m away. Its just really for a cheap laugh late at night, cheap FP. I waited a while for him to get activecause there was no other enemy around, i at least wanted a chase.Butheblewback like aragtag kook.
up against a buffed player its like throwing a firecracker at em. When he,his jedi and commandobuddy caught up with me later,bomb droid no work so well that time. Still did 1600 dmg to all of them though.
I was FD in Pvp and suddenbomb droid distracted attacker, backup showed up perfect time, cause I /stood to early and incaped. It scared him of me though.
