i was wondering if i can report a guy for saying he will slice my armor then just steal it. any thing i can do about that?

Yes, you should report it. Whether anything will come of that, who knows?
Also, be sure to spread the word to your friends about him. Don't just outright shout he's cheating you. Most of the people don't know either of you and you look stupid. Tell your friends, they'll tell their friends and that whole theory of 6 degrees of separation will come into play. Soon everyone will know that someone is cheat, because they'll have heard it from someone they trust.

well me I'm bias I'll give the smuggler in question the benifit of the doubt maybe this guy tried to stiff him for the slice bill....

Its against the rules to steal something. Im not sure whether it's against the rules to say you're going to steal something.

This did not happen to me. I ama smuggler and a honorable one at that.
Im asking this becuase one of the "friends" in game said that he did this a few times. i thought it was low and just plain worng to do!
that being said i dont talk to that guy any more and told him that people work hard to get the stuff they have and you should not jsut take it!

In general, I find the smuggler community on this board and in game to be some of the coolest people. (We'd have to have a good sense of humor -- look at our class, after all, and we still stick with it! 
)
) That being said, there are always those people who do not take the class because they like it -- they take a class because they see a way they can screw someone over. These are the same kind of people who take CM not because it interests them, but because it's ub3r. The same kind of people who change templates every 6 weeks because they found a new and better way of kicking someone else's arse, whether or not it's necessarily supposed to work that way.
Those are the people who'll go to the trouble of grinding smuggler, waiting to find someone who'll trust them with their krayted scatter, or their really expensive stun-layered PvP composite armor, just so they can take off with it. Thing is, that'll only work for so long. You can do that in a major city only so many times before everyone who's a regular there starts to know you can't be trusted, and then you have to either find a new city, or enjoy your ill-gotten goods and learn to do something else.
Best bet: You've probably got a guild and/or friends list. Let each and every one of 'em know who did it, and where. Tell 'em to tell their friends. There's an old rule in any business, and anyone who's worked in a competitive business environment IRL will know it -- "The customer who has a good experience in your store will tell a friend. The customer who has a bad experience in your store will tell six friends."
That's a lot of friends. Use 'em.
